Girl in the Woods

Image
The hour and thirty minutes this piece took up was definitely time well used. The trees came out beautifully, and even though the girl could have been better, I am still in love with this illustration. I used ‘Sketchy Law’ to create the design then lined and colored with ‘Sketchy Lineart’. You can find all my custom brushes by clicking  here.

Centaur

Image
This little thing took an hour to create! I don’t usually do colored lineart, but am happy with how it came out with the dark pinkish color. The sketch was done with ‘Sketchy Law’ while the lineart and coloring for the centaur was done with my ‘Sketchy Lineart’ brush. I used some of the ‘Drawing’ brushes that are already available for free in Procreate for the background. For my brushes click  here.

Underwater Cotton Candy Colors

Image
This picture took me 40 minutes to create. For some reason, over the past week I have been really into the pastel color scheme (cotton candy pinks and blues), plus I just really wanted to do something underwater (which I hope I achieved). I used my ‘Sketchy Law’ brush for the sketch, outlining the drawing with ‘Sketchy Lineart’. I also used that brush to color and highlights. For any blending I did in the face, hair, and eyes I used my ‘Popcorn Blend’ brush. Finally, to finish this beautiful picture off, I used my new ‘Water’ brush to do the texture on top. Green Siren

Image
This piece only took me 30 minutes, but I am so happy with how it turned out. For the sketch layer I used ‘Sketchy Law’, then I outlined it using my ‘Inking’ brush. I did the base color with ‘Inking 2’ as well as the squiggle in the background. ‘Soft Shade ‘and ‘Detailed Shade’ we’re both used, along with ‘Hard Light’ for details. I finished it off with my ‘Signing Brush’. For my Procreate brushes click  here.

Flower Shirt

Image
This took me a little over an hour to complete. The only brush I used was ’Sketchy Law’ because I thought it would be a fun little challenge and would add a nice texture to the finished product. I also added little strands of hair poking out of the linear, which is something I don't normally do, that I really liked in the end.  I love how the jean shorts came out! Soft Colors

Image
This took me about an hour and a half to create. I used my ‘Rounded Brush’ to color, my ‘Inking’ brush for lineart, and my ‘Sketchy Law’ brush to sketch it. My favorite part of this piece is the nose, I love how it turned out. For my Procreate brushes click  here.

Warm Colored Creation

Image
This piece took me roughly 30 minutes. For the base of the shirt and skin I used my ‘Inking’ brush. Afterwards I used my ‘Soft Shade’ brush to put in the highlights and shading in those areas. I blended this using my ‘Popcorn Blend’ brush. For the eyelashes I used the ‘Flick’ brush. To use the flick brush start drawing where you want the flick to end, the brush gets wider and deeper in color the longer you draw. For my Procreate brushes click  here.
